Specialty Offering Testimonial
Concept:
An authentic video testimonial about your practice can do a lot to convey your value.
But a phony ones can hurt your business. If someone’s reading a script, we all know who wrote that script.
Here’s an idea to create a video testimonial that highlights a specialty care option.
Pre-production:
Consider the specialty services you offer that differentiate from other practices.
Look at your patient schedule for the next couple weeks and identify a few people coming in for that service.
Mark it on their file to ask them if they would be comfortable giving a testimonial.
Production:
Story capture:
When they arrive, ask the patient before their treatment: “How are your eyes feeling now? What change do you hope to experience from this treatment?”
Ask the patient at the end of their treatment (or in their follow-up, depending on the treatment): “How do you feel now that you’ve gone through _____ treatment?”
Film three “b-roll” visuals:
Patient checking in at the front desk
Patient undergoing treatment
Patient smiling, looking pleased
Editing:
Add your video files to your editing software. We like X and X. Look here for our go-to list of apps and tools.
Remove unnecessary beginning and endings of your before and after interview.
Add your b-roll visuals over top of your interview.
Add your logo at the end.

Make an Impression
We’re all watching more video these days—on multiple platforms: Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram & more. New patients are searching on Google and referencing your social media to see if you might be a good fit. Creating quality video helps improve SEO, introduces you better than text and photos, and helps you stand out to the right patients.
Video posts on social media get 48% more views.
When asked how they’d most like to learn about a product or service, 73% said they’d prefer to watch a short video. This compares to 11% who’d rather read a text-based article, website or post.
Businesses who use video get 66% more qualified leads per year.

Ander Kazmerski
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY, PRODUCER, CO-FOUNDER
Ander was about to apply to Optometry school when a documentary filmmaker asked him to move to NYC and be his assistant producer. Still fascinated by the eyes and the brain, his path led him to make documentary-style work for CooperVision.
Ander focuses on creating the most compelling visuals possible to catch people’s eyes.
What people say about us
“Working with your team was such a unique experience for me. You really put me at ease and I truly enjoyed the experience.
The feedback from my colleagues and my community have been very positive and made the investment of time totally worth it!
You accurately represented my story (and helped me discover “my story”)...the experience was life-changing for me...confirming that all I need is right in my neighborhood.
I would recommend you to other optometrists because video is the perfect way to say what you want to say and show what you want to show. ”
“Working with Alex an Ander was very easy. They made me feel comfortable, not rehearsed. I was very happy with not only the quality of the video but how they pieced together the content.”
“I had the pleasure of working with Alex and Ander when they spent two days with me while filming me for a segment for Cooper Vision/Vision Source Exchange. They are true professionals and a joy to work with both at my office and my home. There was no disruption at my office, and the interview and filming process at my home was easy and painless. I highly recommend them and enjoyed my time with them!”
“We have had the unique experience of working with multiple film and production crews due to my industry affiliations and public speaking engagements. I can hands down say that working with Alex and Ander was the best experience with the overall best end product. They took their time to capture an enormous amount of content, and then whittled it down to the best parts in a short-and-to-the-point video that has been immensely effective.”

Companies we’ve helped along our path
In the past 7 years, we’ve been fortunate enough to create videos with, for, and about: CooperVision, IDOC, VisionSource, Costco, Ray-Ban, ALLDocs, AOA, Vision Expo West, East-West Eye, Open Your Eyes, and more.
We’ve traveled across the country (and even to Puerto Rico and Costa Rica!) for conferences, to film in eye doctors offices, and manufacturing facilities. We’re not optometrists, but we sure do know a lot about the eyes.
